Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the trials held by the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in September of 1945 in Sarajevo, which resulted in death penalties by shooting. The organization of these trials, the sentencing and execution of the death penalties is viewed in the context of actions undertaken by the communist government in order to establish and stabilize its power.
