ABOUT THE SOCIAL POSITION OF WOMEN IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA 1942-1953

Summary/Abstract: This paper considers the basic signs of the social position of women in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period of the Second World War until the abolishment of the Antifascist Women’s Front. A new identity of women in socialism was created during the marked time frame, first by Party war decisions, and after the Liberation by constitutional and legal acts which significantly changed the social position of women on the level of political, social, work, marital and other rights.
