Summary/Abstract: Cultural tourism refers to a wide range of activities that enables the traveler to learn about the history, heritage and lifestyles of other areas, incorporating museums, festivals, architecture, historic sites and artistic performances as well as any experience that brings one culture in contact with another for the specific purpose in a touring situation. Cultural tourism is a kind of special interest tourism. It is very popular both as a touristic product and as a theme. It has become more popular with international tourism movements during the last 40 years. To the speculations made by the international tourism organizations, this trend is to be continued is especially in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Turkey has got so many cultural heritages because of being in a special geographic places and also including many different civilizations which had been established in this area.
