Summary/Abstract: This study presents an analysis of the imperial anthem of the Habsburg monarchy. It follows its changes and modifications since 1797, including various variants of Czech translations, whose texts it also contains. The author examines the public perception of the anthem and its role as a means of expressing respect to the monarch.
