Summary/Abstract: The author presents an outline of life and work of a P remonstrate historian who has been somewhat unfairly overshadowed by his friend and correspondent Bohuslav Balbín. The archives in Teplá and the manuscript collection of the monastery contain a number of his works, which in the form of annals describe the history of the canonrys of Teplá and others, but also illustrate the life of Alois Hackenschmidt and his circle of friends.
