Deviant youth behavior in Bulgarian society between the two world wars

Summary/Abstract: The author analyses the statistic data of suicide and prostitution among deferent age and social groups in 1920-1930s Bulgarian society. The increasing rate of urban youngsters, mainly of poor peasant origin, new comers to the town, involved in prostitution and permitted suicide are due to the political and economic crises after the wars, urbanization and development of specific underground youth culture
