Summary/Abstract: The objective of the presented research was to define the type of religiosity and style of identity characteristic of a group of young Poles “entering adulthood”. At the same time, we wished to investigate the mutual relations between religiosity, development of identity and level of well-being of people in the period of “emerging adulthood”. Participants were 203 people (109 women and 94 men) aged between 20 and 25. The following tools were used: Berzonsky’s Identity Style Inventory (ISI-3); Huber’s Centrality of Religiosity Scale (C-15); and Wojciechowska’s Psychological Well-Being Questionnaire. The results indicate that identity is linked to religiosity and sense of well-being, and that a normative style of identity is a mediator between religiosity and the sense of well-being of young adults.
