Theoretical and methodological aspects of management in crisis situations

Summary/Abstract: In this study, based on the analysis of literary sources, the theoretical and methodological aspects of management in crisis situations are discussed. The following concepts are clarified: crisis, management of crises, crisis management, management in crisis situations. Some of the most popular classifications of crises are dis-cussed: the classification of crises according to the organization’s development and the typology of the crises, with respect to the professional skills and attitude to-wards change of the staff. The necessity to develop crisis management dynamically as a science and practice is well-grounded.
