Summary/Abstract: Czech dialectology ended a significant era of its research. In 2011 the Czech Linguistic Atlas was finished: the last volume (Supplements) was published. However, the volume is not a mere summarizing one (with indices etc.). It offers a chapter on the development of Czech dialects and their state in the second half of the 20th century. The detected situation is also presented in two audiorecordings. At present, the work on the dictionary of the dialects in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia has begun. In this dictionary the conception of a dictionary paragraph is based on the form of a lemma the paragraph starts with. The spelling of the lemma respects rules of the standard language and its development, even in cases when a lemmatized word is not found in the standard language. A specific problem is the lemmatization of expressions adapted from foreign languages, particularly from German. The dictionary profits from a database not having a parallel in Czech corpus resources.
