Thoughts on rural and regional community categories: anachronism or a current perspective?

Summary/Abstract: The Author in this article clashes to ideas which compete in contemporary discussions. From one side there are the followers of the deconstruction of certain forms of social life who consider them anachronic in contemporary public discussions. The answer is argumentation presented passionately proving a particular renaissance of the idea of communalism and its consequences for the assessment of programmes of the Third Sector. In the spirit of polemics the Author presents, wrong assumptions, in her opinion which result in the marginalization of the specificity of rural societies, particularly in the sphere of social bonding. Autorka „zderza” w swym artykule konkurujące we współczesnym dyskursie poglądy. Mamy zatem, z jednej strony, zwolenników dekonstrukcji wybranych form życia społecznego, uznających je za anachroniczne we współczesnym dyskursie publicznym. Odpowiedzią jest prezentowana z pasją argumentacja, poświadczająca swoisty renesans idei wspólnotowości i jego konsekwencje dla oceny programów Trzeciego Sektora. W duchu polemiki Autorka wskazuje na – jej zdaniem – błędne założenia, których rezultatem jest marginalizowanie specyfiki społeczności wiejskich, zwłaszcza w wymiarze więzi społecznej.
