Summary/Abstract: The essence of the ADL activities from the National Defence University Warsaw (NDU) perspective is presented. Firstly, the general idea and functional model are shown, secondly current activities and organisational structure are presented. LMS ILIAS is mentioned as the tool to be used by the NDU. One of the goals of the endeavours is to develop specialised ADL courses for the Polish Armed Forces needs. Finally, future activities in the field of the ADL are considered, stemming the NDU Development Strategy for 2009-2018.
