Summary/Abstract: There is a growing need for digital competence (REC 2006/962/EC) by EU elders (65+) who, otherwise, run the risk of being socially excluded. Progress has been made but there is still much to do, also due to EU demographic trends. The project aims to create a sustainable digital literacy life-long learning programme to provide: elderly citizens with competences and resources necessary to benefit from ICT; school students and teachers with didactic experiences fostering the learning of skills critical for the 21st century (communication skills, social responsibility, inter-generational understanding, etc.); local-government policy makers with a practical process and tools to tackle elders’ e-inclusion of through a multi-stakeholder approach including schools, elderly people centres and other organizations working with the elderly.
