Summary/Abstract: The Hadley Centre for Climate Change, states that average global temperatures over the past 10 years are significantly above the norm. Of those years, 8 were the warmest since records began. This trend is likely to continue as the Earth adapts to an ever increasing build up of “greenhouse gases”. It is the “greenhouse gases” that are responsible for the increases in temperature. This project seeks to address adaptability and accessibility issues in delivering scientific and graphical data concerning global warming and climate change to people who are sensory impaired – topics of importance to the EU and the world. Without this project sensory impaired people would be disadvantaged in acquiring knowledge and developing a full understanding of the science, economic, cultural, social and lifestyle issues relating to global warming and climate change.
