Summary/Abstract: The paper presents a series of the problems of designing and implementing an eLearning strategy, objectives, planning and didactic process management. Having a good and efficient strategy we make a step forward skiping the stage of using the eLearning just for supplying information by pdf files and ppt slides. We can use the eLearning as an interactive tutorial teaching tool and finally as a collaborative one to stimulate creativity, teamwork abilities and other skills. From the area of this problems we are focused on the controls for WCGR – what could go wrong activities, vulnerabilities, threats, risks, to define a proper frame for the management of risks. There are analyzed the didactic risks, scientific, technical and evaluation risks for example the risk of competition, the risk of personality, the risk of communication, the risk of trust, leader and lager risk and others. Using our own experience handling eLearning tool, there was included suggestions for risks management as one of the key success factor of the eLearning strategy.
