Summary/Abstract: To meet the challenges of the new economy educators strive to equip learners with a diverse set of skills necessary for collaborating effectively with people from different disciplines and backgrounds. Web 2.0 tools are increasingly used to engage students and help them successfully manage collaborative activities in a safe environment before they move in a more competitive and demanding setting – the real business world. This paper presents the findings from an exploratory case study on the use of blogs to enhance postgraduate business education. The case study explores how students appropriate this technology for their individual and collaborative learning. Qualitative data was collected through participant observation, focus groups and examination of the students’ blogs. The findings reveal that using a blog as part of a wider blended learning approach is an effective way for students to learn from each other, broaden their perspectives and improve their communication skills.
