About a Certain Type of "Liberation"

Summary/Abstract: The Russian myth of being the pioneers of civilization who brought the culture to Bucovina after the World War II is denied here by the memories of the war veteran Valentina Dovjynska who remembers the superior conditions of civilization she and her husband found when they settled in Cernauti in 1944. The author argues that this so-called liberation has actually drawn back the Bucovinan society with at least hundred years.
