Towards a Constructive European Cultural Pluralism

Summary/Abstract: The paper aims to present in a global manner the vast problematic of the european cultural pluralism. By underlining the fact that the culture occupies a very important place in our lives, thus representing a real balance between the economic and the social spheres, this paper underlines three questions connnected to the constructive aspect of the culture. A brief survey on the history and evolution of the idea of cultural universality, an attempt to define the concept of cultural pluralism and finally the conditions to be fulfilled for the achievement of a constructive cultural pluralism.
