Summary/Abstract: The reviewer focuses on strategies of literary-critical description in Jacek Gutorow’s recently released critical book 'Urwany ślad' [‘A Trace That Ends’], emphasising the analyses of search for a language (in Różewicz, Wirpsza, Karpowicz and Sosnowski) using which poets try to break the aporia between the (poetic) language and thing. The reviewer tries to answer the question of the value of Gutorow’s critical discourse in the context of Derridian metamorphology.
