Summary/Abstract: More then 200 foreign exhibitors and o-exhibitors participated in 18th International Fair of Books and Teaching Appliances held in Skenderija Centre in Sarajevo. Until now, this was the biggest fair judging by the number of participants. Within numerous fair events, the following cultural centers were presented: Goethe Institute, British Council, Andre Malraux, Iranian Cultural Centre and representatives of Egyptian Embassy in Sarajevo. Second international Conference of Slavic Libraries (ICSL) was held and it brought together more than 100 participants from 12 countries, who tried to answer the question what is the future of Slavic collections in the world. Also, the publishing activity of the NULBIH was promoted as well. Mr. Robert J. Donia was awarded with League of Humanists Award.
