Women’s Silence as a Binary Opposition to the Men’s Authoritative Discourse

Summary/Abstract: The article contains the investigation of women’s subjectivity in the context of modern communicative studies through the analysis of nonverbal discourse. The author suggests to use the language of semiotics in the research of women’s silence as a marked form of women’s identity. The tools of semiotics are tested through the analysis of author’s poetry as a variant of ego-document.
