Summary/Abstract: «Studies of Women’s Movement in Russia» is one of several publicistic works of the XX century which fully covers the history of origin and development of native women’s movement. The author of this work is Anna Nikolayevna Shabanova, hereditary noblewoman, student of the higher courses for women, the first woman who made a career of pediatrician. Since 1889 she was the chairwoman of Russian women’s inter-beneficent society. Here the chronology of women’s movement development is studied and attempt to work out a concept of its liberal-democratic line is made. The author analyzes the work which has been done during the first All-Russian women’s congress.
