Summary/Abstract: Dialogue is a manifesto by Lotte van den Berg, in which the author explores interpersonal relationships and man’s place in the world. Her point of departure is a conversation with a homeless Ethiopian living in Holland, a participant in Street, prepared by van den Berg for Rimini Protokoll’s Parallel Cities project. The author concludes that we are all experts on everyday life. She believes that we need to strike up a dialogue with another person in order to gain awareness of ourselves.
