Acceptance Control Charts

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of this article was to review and analyse basic control charts, which can be used to accept or disqualify an analysed production process. There are two kinds of acceptance control charts: Shewhart and cumulative sum (CUSUM charts). Both can be used by quality managers or financial managers in process monitoring or auditing.Only selected process control procedures are presented in this article. Other algorithms can be found in the cited literature or developed by listed schemes. The article focuses also on the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed solutions, and provides examples of their use.
