Friend and/or Enemies

Summary/Abstract: From the documents contained in the secret folder on the editor of the journal Korunk, held under surveillance by the secret police of the previous regime in Romania, we can now identify what the secret services were most interested in, including specific events. Their returning questions concern the opinions voiced by the “Hungarian nationalists” in private circles and even more publicly, as well as their supposed “plans for action”. The informations were supplied by members of the editorial staff, recruited by the secret services. The documents of the Securitate now show us that even close friends were capable of supplying informations as enemies about the person targeted by the secret police.
