Summary/Abstract: For ten years, the State develops its support for research in nanoscience and nanotechnology. Nanotechnology in fact represent a major economic issue for companies. Their applications include multiple sectors. This new technological revolution, however, requires to consider its dangers, particularly on human health and the environment. It is especially urgent attention to the risks they may cause to the health and safety of workers handling these materials. There is currently no specific regulations, French or European, to protect the employees being in such an environment. Many studies, however, state real risks to human health, it is therefore necessary to accelerate the implementation of measures protecting workers without waiting for confirmation of the toxicity or safety of those materials.
