Summary/Abstract: Earth architecture re-emerged as an original, ecological and cheaper alternative to the standard building methods based on concrete, metal, glass, synthetic materials. Small houses are often realized by volunteers, using natural and local materials like clay, hay, wood, and stone. Such projects are very similar to Neolithic architecture. Archaeological evidences from Cucuteni and Gumelniţa sites offer valuable solutions for building and decorating. An example is the house build in 2011 in Belciugatele village, Calăraşi County.
