Territorial dimension of regional development policy in Lower Silesia Region in 2014-2020

Summary/Abstract: The region of Lower Silesia presents numerous developmental disproportions. They basically refer to all spheres of functioning: economy, level of local community living standards, infrastructural equipment, etc. Having observed the intraregional disproportions it seems indispensable to run effective policy of social and economic cohesion closely related to national regional policy and that of the European Union. The implementation of cohesion policy in the region will be carried out by means of the Regional Operational Programme realization for Lower Silesia region in the years 2014-2020, which objectives and priorities are on one hand coherent with the regional strategy of development and on the other are ingrained in the objectives of long-termed national strategies of development and Strategy Europa 2020.
