Summary/Abstract: The article follows the dynamics of relationships between Israel and Yugoslavia in the course of the 20th century. The relationship of Yugoslav Kingdom towards the establishment of the Jewish state, and the changes in relations during the period of socialist Yugoslavia are a subject of scrutiny from the founding of Israel until the death of Josip Broz Tito. Special attention is given to the restoration of relations between the two countries, which has coincided with the destruction of the former Yugoslavia. The relations of Israel towards warfare and the formation of new states is a subject of detailed analysis and is scrutinized in the context of the entire foreign and inner policy of Israel.
