Summary/Abstract: Franciszek Dionizy Kniaźnin was the court poet of Adam Kazimierz and Izabela Czartoryski. Erotics were published in 1779 and are representative of his young poetry. This poetry aspired to Rococo stream. The lyrics were discriminated by contemporary readers and then by Kniaźnin himself, because of its out-of-date and unfashionable Baroque style. The 20th century critics had a similar opinion, which still exists. In spite of not too good Baroque concepts, illustrating and stereotypical love motifs, this poetry contains precious Rococo elements like treating antic goods as residents of Czartoryski's court. The topics of this poetry are: love and the court lifestyle along with the reflections and philosophic lyrics resulting from them. The concluding opinion is that those are the most precious compositions and the author of the article would like to analyse them in future studies as well.
