Summary/Abstract: School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo is a member of a prestigious accreditation agency AACSB (http://www.aacsb.edu) and European accreditation agency EFMD (http://www.efmd.org). In the beginning of 2009, School has implemented quality management system in accordance with standard ISO 9001:2008, guidelines ISO 9004:2008 and guidelines for education IWA2:2007. The intention of this paper is to present experiences in development of quality management system at School of Economics and Business in different elements: quality of teaching process, quality of scientific and research process, quality of support processes, quality and promotion of teaching staff, quality of infrastructure and quality of the School as a whole. Special focus will be given to establishment of certain elements of QMS, which are underdeveloped in the higher education institutions – members of University of Sarajevo. The importance of Quality Management System and its influences on the implementation of the Bologna process through mobility, LLL programs, market connections, and connections with local and foreign partners (twinning programs, joint degree, double-degree…) will be analysed in the paper. Quality elements, which will be defined in this paper, represent a key predisposition for enrolment of School of Economics and Business into European Higher Education Area- EHEA.
