Summary/Abstract: The relationship between human and technology origins from triple relationship between human spirit and nature: the immersion of a spirit into nature; the separation of a spirit from nature with forming a particular sphere of spirituality; and an active rule of a spirit over nature. Human has, in the course of history, come into paradoxical relationship with technology. He/she, who is its author, has bring himself/herself into a dangerous situation to be its slave. So, it is not surprising that philosophers have taken seriously the question of technology. Namely, while development of technology was on lower level, and while technology was replacing human in the hardest labour, i. e. while it was his/her extended hand - the question of technology had a completely determined meaning. But, when technology became so developed to represent a huge power in the hands of a small number of individuals, who could rule the world by using it, or could destroy substantial part of humankind - then the question of technology have taken completely different meaning. It has become metaphysical and moral question. It is not unusual to take a religious stance towards technology. Consequently, the question of technology is becoming very important spiritual question, on which the fate of humankind could depend. Our purpose is to show that every denial of the value of technology would be incorrect, but also to show the necessity of its subordination to human free spirit.
