Summary/Abstract: Supervision is an important tool of development and education of nursing professionals. It gives them opportunities for organized reflection. A main research question of the presented qualitative study was to survey a broader context of non-medical nursing professionals’ (NLZP) experience in the field of oncology who participated in a project entitled “Development of supervision methodology for NLZP with internal medicine and surgery specialisation”. Data collection was carried out via semi-structured focus groups. Respondents were recruited among project participants. We organized two independent focus groups with a total amount of 11 respondents. Total duration of interviews was 117 minutes. The results showed a request for a unified interest and a unified work problem which should be solved within supervision. All focus groups participants recommended broadening supervision programme to other clinical fields.
