Methods in assessment of the efficiency of innovative projects

Summary/Abstract: The article outlines key methods in the assessment of the efficiency of innovative projects. The first part presents the theoretical aspects of effectiveness concept. Further on; the specifics of innovative projects are introduced in regards to effectiveness measurements. The relevance of the application of theoretical characteristics has also been proved. The adaptive nature of effective measurement methods in those projects is introduced throughout the article. The financial assessment of efficiency does not involve the external factors such as high technology; environmental development; corporate social responsibility; innovative marketing; service and organization. All of the above mentioned; as quality indicators; are difficult to quantify due to their complexity; though they have a direct impact on the measurement results. This leads to the necessity of further exploration and research in the discussed area; specifically on diffusion of innovation as well as on the necessity of simplification of assessement methods.
