The influence of chosen spatial aspects on socio-economic development of local self-governments – the example of maritime communes of the West Pomeranian voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: Local spatial policy includes any policy designed to influence locational and landuse decisions; or the distribution of activities. It provides a framework for consensual spatial development and evaluation of the commune territory. Nevertheless; the example of maritime communes of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (especially the analysis of chosen socio-economic and spatial development indicators) does not confirm the substantial role of spatial policy in the local socio-economic development process.
