CONTRIBUTION OF SADULLA BRESTOVCI ON REVEALING THE ROLE OF CLERGY IN ALBANIAN NATIONAL MOVEMENT

Summary/Abstract: Sadulla Brestovci was among first scientists dealing with the figures of clergies in Albanian National Movement. Even though Mar-xist – Leninist ideology at the time of his scientific activity was totally against clergies and religion, it didn’t prevent at all the scientist S. Brestovci to approach objectively toward this problematic, even tho-ugh it could cost him a career. In this paper we have again emphasized one of numerous study topics of S. Brestovcit, the role of clergies in National Movement, with a special highlight in the Vilajet of Kosova.
