Do politicians “know how the Internet”? - Twitter’s activity of parliamentarians from the province of Silesia

Summary/Abstract: Twitter is recognized as one of the most important means of political communication, which is confirmed by its role on the global political scene. In the article, which is being presented, it was essayed to make a research involving how active on twitter members of parliament from Silesia are, as well as describing their model attitude in relation to social media. Conclusions of analysis of the research problem leave no doubt – the vast majority of Silesian deputies and senators, who were subjected to the observation, don’t exploit the potential for this social media.
