Summary/Abstract: Objective: The aim of this paper is to systematize the existing research at the intersection of international entrepreneurship and effectuation theories.Research Design & Methods: The research was carried out with the help of the literature review, where the articles reviewed were mostly published within the last decade (2005-2015) and come from the leading scientific journals specializing in entrepreneurship research.Findings: Theoretical contribution of the study is the summary of the existing research on the application of effectuation logic in international entrepreneurship field.Implications & Recommendations: The results of the study are exploratory and there is a need in future empirical research on the intersection of international entrepreneurship end effectuation research.Contribution & Value Added: The existing literature is divided into two streams – papers which claim that international entrepreneurs use causation logic and the ones that argue on the application of effectuation theory within the international entrepreneurship research.
