Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the interior and the furnishing of a Bulgarian house of 1863, the Period of Bulgaria’s National Revival. The author seeks first of all to present the architecture to then overview in detail part of the collection of furniture at the house: the French Empire style furniture set in the southeast drawing room on the upper floor. An analysis of the distinctive characteristics of the style is supposed to be made as well as an assumption about the furniture maker.
