Summary/Abstract: This article presents an analysis of legal regulations governing the status of a Member of the European Parliament. After analyzing the modes of election and the principles of Polish Electoral Law to Parliament, the article shows the position and privileges associated with the function of an MEP. The article contains an analysis of cases where a loss of a parliamentarian and the principle of incompatibility positions.
