Summary/Abstract: The author is of the opinion that the loss of the mandate by a Deputy, who has supported the motion to convene a sitting of the committee in accordance with Article 152 para. 2 of the Standing Orders of the Sejm, does not affect the effectiveness of the motion, even if it will result in the number of members supporting the motion (putting their signatures thereupon) being less than 1/3 of the committee membership. An obligation to establish the date and time of the sitting of the committee arises at the time of submission of the properly formulated motion, and should be satisfied immediately. It cannot be accepted that the tardiness in the implementation of the obligation, which arose at the time of submission of the motion, could have an impact on its binding efficiency.
