Summary/Abstract: The article is an attempt to show how in the so-called Pascal's Wager, the great French philosopher and physicist conducts a process of aestheticization of basic religious concepts and categories, which leads to their gradual marginalization. Thus, he falls into the trap of aestheticization, against which he warns us in his entire philosophy. As a result, the choice of eternal life ceases to be the only possible conclusion of the Wager. The affirmation of the principle “as though” by God leads to his aestheticization. In the world of the aesthetic God’s love, eternal damnation turns out to be not only unlikely, but even impossible.
