Summary/Abstract: The intensification of trans-border legal turnover between the EU-member states and the stable growth of legal regulations result in the development of European Procedural Law. The question of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments, beside the domestic jurisdiction, form the principal foundations of the so called European Law of Civil Procedure. To a great extent, the European law in this issue has dislodged or is dislodging the domestic regulations of EU-member states. This article presents the conditions of enforcement of foreign judgments on the basis of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters and an attempt of their valuation.
