A Dwelling Belonging to Babadag Culture, from Platoneşti – Valea Babii, Ialomiţa County

Summary/Abstract: The surface dwelling no. 5 of the settlement from Platoneşti - Valea Babii, belonging to Babadag culture, had a rectangular shape. Its orientation was NV-SE and its sides were of 2.90 x 2.60 m. The archaeological inventory found in the house, quite rich, consisted of ceramic fragments from common pots, pans, bitronconice cups, cups with raised handles, some bone, stone and terra-cotta objects.
