Summary/Abstract: The theme of the article is the study of teenagers problems based on quantitative methods, the scientific approach is divided into two parts: the part of knowledge and the practical approach. During the first part we describe the problems of adolescents based on national and international literature, and during the second part we use some quantitative methods (diagnosis, regression and investigation) we aim to achieve an in - depth analysis of the addressed topic. Through the diagnosis we highlight changes in numerical terms of the number of adolescents, and also their problems: poverty and delinquency. Regression functions are used to show the nature, direction and intensity of the relationship between a number of causal variables and the outcome variable. The investigation aims to identify the extent to which cultural values of the country leave their mark on the perception of the importance of family and friends for teens. The main conclusions of the research points out the fact that the decrease in the number of Romanian teenagers their problems still persist.
