Summary/Abstract: Claudel et Beckett sont de ceux pour qui l’éloquence se cache dans les non-dits, au point que leur théâtre devient le lieu par excellence de l’effacement du mot au profit de la pensée. L’insuffisance des mots torture le créateur qui se fraie un chemin vers le symbolisme du manque linguistique. The eloquence of Claudel and Beckett hides under the non-said, to the point that their theatre becomes the place par excellence of the effacement of words at the profit of thought. The insufficiency of words tortures these creators who devise a path towards the symbolism of linguistic lack.
