Summary/Abstract: The article presents the revolutionary events of 1848 in Prague and Vienna and their main actors (writers, students and Czech national leaders) with special emphasis on the negotiations of the Slav Congress at the beginning of June 1848. The author analyses the idea of the Slav cooperation within the Habsburg Empire, its main political elaborations and its main supporters. As shown, some of the participators in the Slav Congress and the June Uprising in Prague emigrated eastward and settled down in Bulgarian lands. Others stayed home, but also were in some way or another supportive to the Bulgarian National Revival.
