Summary/Abstract: Il est question de la possibilité d’une révélation de l’au-delà en littérature à travers la relation textuelle entre Poe et Mallarmé. S’agit-il d’une marchandise littéraire, d’un subterfuge pour capter l’intérêt des lecteurs, ou d’une honnête préoccupation, voire d’une obsession existentielle ayant trait à l’oubli? Through analysis of the textual connections between Poe and Mallarmé, this contribution examines the possibility of a revelation of the ‘beyond’ through literature. Is this a literary product, a subterfuge to capture the interest of readers, or an honest preoccupation, even an existential obsession, linked to the act of forgetting ?
