Summary/Abstract: The Energy Law Act of April 10th 1997 regulates one of the most important sectors of economy which is the trade of fuels and energy. Because of the importance of the energy branch for providing national security, it is necessary to ensure stability of the law governing the aforementioned field. Therefore, provisions of the Energy Law Act have been repeatedly subjected constitutional review by the Constitutional Court. This article presents the thesis of court judgments along with comments. The points of view presented in the Court’s judgments are a source of valuable knowledge for those involved in energy law.
