Summary/Abstract: this paper deals with advanced int technology shown from the angle of conformist behaviour patterns derived from social psychology, with special attention paid to speci c teacher-student relations. the accent was put on the role of learning in the process of producing bifacial tools by the communities inhabiting lesser Poland in the early Bronze Age. looking at int technology from the perspective of social sciences made it possible to formulate the concept of intergenerational ow of technological knowledge related to the production of bifacial daggers and sickles.
