Summary/Abstract: Digital storytelling on the website Lubimyczytac.pl contributes to an increase in the reading public, to active participation in literary discourse, and to the change of passive consumers of popular culture into active agents of the eld of literature. With the use of the anthropological approach and the tool of virtual ethnography, one sub-segment is of this website is investigated to nd out how one communication media (printed books) enhances both creative writing and reading itself, and how the latter cultural pattern is promoted.
